Another vehicle which was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, was the 2017 Audi R8 V10 Spyder.

As far as appearance goes the 2017 Audi R8 V10 Spyder has changed a lot from the previous R8 Spyder which was last updated in 2012. One of the main changes being the actual size of the car as the new 2017 R8 Spyder is now 14mm shorter in length, 36mm wider in width and the overall look of the car has changed, as it resembles more of the sharper 2016 Audi R8 V10 Coupe. When purchased you will get the option of having the top in three colours, those colours being black, red and brown.

Just like the 2016 Audi R8 V10 Coupe the 2017 V10 Spyder will contain a 5.2 litre engine which will produce 540hp resulting in the vehicle having a top speed of 198mph and being able to reach 0-63 in 3.6 seconds from standstill.

The interior is where the German manufacturer have done it again, by reducing the cockpit to a slick, minimalistic design the driver can now experience and cleaner and roomier feel when driving.

We are likely to see the 2017 Audi R8 V10 Spyder sometime in the summer for a price around $165,000, but will the new V10 Spyder have what it takes as it goes up against cars such as the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and the McLaren 570S Spyder when it eventually arrives. eventually
