2016 McLaren 675LT Spider

Since the McLaren 675LT Coupe was released, us car enthusiasts could not wait see this stunning car as a convertable; the long wait is now over as the McLaren 675LT Spider is now here. The McLaren 675LT Spider is essentially a convertable version of 675LT Coupe, with some additional features here and there.

One downsides when going for this stylish, roofless McLaren, is the price as the Spider costs quite a bit more than the coupe, coming in around £285,450 almost £26,000 more than its Coupe sibling.

When it come's to performance, the Spider will be no different to the Coupe in terms of speed, with the Coupe 0-62mph in a time of 2.9 seconds, but loses a tiny 2mph of it's top speed, topping out at 203mph.

Just like the McLaren 675LT Coupe, the 675LT Spider will be equipped with the same 3.8 litre, Twin-Turbo V8 engine. However, here is where things get interesting, the Spider will produce a whopping 666 horsepower. McLaren have not stated how many will be made, yet as with the McLaren 675LT Coupe we are guessing there will be a limited amount.
